On November 29, 2023, the Shelby County Circuit Court entered a judgment in favor of Malcolm B. Futhey III’s client in the amount of $1.575 million following trial.  The dispute involved declaratory relief regarding the amount to which the parties were entitled of an insurance award.  The opposing party asserted that Futhey’s client was entitled to nothing.  The court disagreed and ruled in favor of Malcolm Futhey’s client.
