For the third (and final) time, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of Malcolm B. Futhey III’s client, John Falls, lead singer for Egypt Central. The Sixth Circuit held Falls was correctly awarded a $2.066 million verdict as compensation under his insurance policy for his leasehold interest in music equipment at the House of Blues, which burned in 2015. This third appeal in Falls’ favor followed the third trial over related issues. Malcolm B. Futhey III represented Falls in all three trials and appeals. Falls won every trial and appeal.
